In Western Mitzrayim, born and raised,
In the palace is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' with my concubines, acting all cool,
And racin' some chariots outside of school.
When all of a sudden a bunch of them Jews,
We're getting all beat up by these Egyptian dudes.
I got in one little fight and then I got scurred,
So I said I'd run away and become a shepard.

So I was hanging with some sheep when this bush caught on fire.
And then G-d's voice boomed from within this one pyre.
He said, Moses, get yo fanny back, you got nothing to lose,
You gotta go become the leader of the Jews.
Then me and my bro Aaron we went back to Pharaoh,
We told him man you gotta let our people just go.
He spit in my face and he said "I refuse."
I said, you'll learn to mess with the leader of the Jews.

G-d dropped His plagues all over that land,
And Pharaoh's like, "Yo, this is not what I planned."
He told us, get out of my country, you hacks!
I said sure, as long as we got matzoh on our backs
We got to the sea and got ready to cross.
When Pharaoh comes from nowhere, just like a boss.
So I split it down the middle, and we all walked through.
And Miriam and her shawties played some timbrels too.
